VDA 19.1 – Checking the cleanliness of parts: qualification as an inspection assistant VDA 19.1 – #979
Training in partnership with the VDA-QMC
Context
The technical cleanliness of components and sub-assemblies is an important functional quality characteristic in the manufacture of modern vehicles.
Volume 19.1, “Inspection of Technical Cleanliness – Particulate Contamination of Functional Automotive Components”, deals with procedures for extracting and analysing the cleanliness status of products in the automotive supply chain. The VDA 19.1 manual (formerly known as VDA 19) was first officially introduced by the VDA in January 2005 and is available in a fully revised and expanded edition since 2015.
