Context
As a VDA 6.3 certified auditor, a thorough knowledge of VDA 6.3 is required in order to carry out effective process audits. However, process auditors regularly encounter audit situations in which the proper handling or assessment of requirements gives rise to uncertainty. In addition, there is a need for ongoing training for process auditors, particularly when their certification is renewed.
This training course offers the opportunity to improve your day-to-day process auditing practice, to strengthen your auditing skills and to increase your confidence in your process auditing practice in accordance with VDA 6.3: 2023.
- You are a certified VDA 6.3 auditor but you cannot demonstrate the sufficient number of audits to be able to renew your auditor certification.
- Â You want to strengthen and develop your skills as a VDA 6.3: 2023 process auditor, and increase your confidence in carrying out your audits.
- You want to improve the suitability of your audit assessments to the requirements of VDA 6.3: 2023.
Objectives
- Develop your skills as an auditor, and learn how other participants deal with common challenges.
- Understand all the stages and components of an audit assignment.
- Knowing how to correctly assess audit situations and deduce any discrepancies.

VDA 6.3 (2016) certified process auditors, who cannot demonstrate the required number of process audits for the extension of their auditor certification.
Prerequisites

Have successfully completed the VDA 6.3: 2016 to 2023 qualified auditor upgrade training course (#960) prior to your participation.

Thorough knowledge of the VDA 6.3 questionnaire and assessment requirements.
Pedagogy
The course focuses on the practical application of the VDA 6.3: 2023 process audit as a basis for actions to improve audit practice.
The theoretical part focuses on the subjects of audit preparation and planning, as well as gap assessment.
Practical exercises are carried out on the basis of role plays and given scenarios for the preparation, execution and final evaluation, as well as post-audit evaluation of the relevance of the action plan proposed by the auditees.
Evaluation mode
- Assessment of aptitude by the trainer, during practical exercises carried out during the training.
