A-SPICEĀ® for cybersecurity – discover the extension of the automotive SPICE model to cybersecurity – #815
Context
- The A-SPICEĀ® model is used in the automotive industry to improve and evaluate your software and embedded systems development processes and associated supporting processes.
- You are developing software or embedded systems for automotive vehicles and want to integrate the associated cyber security requirements.
- The A-SPICE model now includes an extension to cybersecurity through 6 new processes and takes cybersecurity into account in the existing processes of the standard model.
Objectives
- Understand the new cybersecurity requirements integrated in the A-SPICEĀ® model to enable you to analyse your development processes from a cybersecurity perspective.
- Discover the TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment) method for analysing cybersecurity threats and assessing the associated risks.
Recommanded for
- Cybersecurity managers, engineers and technicians
- Electrical/Electronic system development quality
- Cybersecurity referents in the company
- System or software developers.
Prerequisites
- Good knowledge of the A-SPICEĀ® standard
Good knowledge of cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434) or functional security (ISO 26262) - Good level of professional English (assessment model only available in English).
Specific operating conditions for remote session
- Have a PC equipped with a microphone, webcam and, if possible, a headset for greater comfort. Note: To blur or hide the view from behind, background screens are available in Zoom or Teams.
- A good Internet connection, tested before the session.
- Locate in a quiet, isolated area; switch to Ā«Ā not availableĀ Ā» status in Teams; close your email access and mute your phone to avoid distraction during the session.
- To avoid off-topic discussions during the session, participants from the same organisation should not be grouped together in the same room, but rather at their own desks. Virtual sub-groups will be set up specifically for the exercises, which will also allow for mixed groups to be created.
- The webcam and microphone must be open during remote qualification/certification exams. It may also be necessary for us to check that you are the only one in the room.
- We ask that you connect at least 5 minutes before the beginning of the session.
Pedagogy
-
A training-action course which puts the participants in a situation for a better implementation of the A-SPICE standard on the cybersecurity aspects and a better deployment of the requirements of the standard
-
Exchanges between participants based on their experience of implementing and assessing vehicle cybersecurity risks.
Evaluation mode
- Knowledge test (MCQ).
Course materials
-
Participant file containing the presentations delivered during the training and the exercise materials.
