Context
Your company has a quality management system built according to ISO 9001 and you wish to train new internal auditors. These future auditors are beginners.
Objectives
To understand all aspects of auditing a quality management system and to be able to audit it effectively:
- Know how to prepare, conduct, and conclude an audit according to the requirements of ISO 19011.
- Understand the process approach and its link with the management of company performance.
- Grasp the role of an auditor and its impact on the continuous improvement of the System.
- Know how to apply communication techniques useful in auditing, particularly using the CAPDo® technique to effectively manage interviews.
- Know how to audit the application of ISO 9001:2015 requirements as well as the applicable requirements of interested parties relevant to the company.
- Know how to create an audit questionnaire, generate an audit agenda according to the V approach and the CAPDo® logic.
- Know how to formulate audit findings and present the audit conclusions.

Prerequisites
Master the ISO 9001: 2015 standard.
Possess the text of the standard during the session.
Pedagogy
This training module focuses on the practical application of effective tools and techniques during a MAIN sequence of conducting an audit from “A to Z”…
- either on real cases (if the session takes place at a host site),
- or on case studies (in the classroom, using fictional but entirely representative scenarios).
In both cases, each participant (in pairs) will have to:
- prepare an audit (document analysis, creation of an audit checklist and questionnaire),
- interview auditees (variety of question types, search for factual evidence),
- draft findings (4 key elements of a non-conformity),
- present conclusions (explanations and justification of findings).
Immediate feedback allows each participant to identify their strengths and areas for further development.
