Context
- Your company is preparing for or is already certified to IATF 16949: 2016.
- Your quality management system based on the automotive process approach needs to be supported by the process owners.
- You are looking to strengthen their skills so that they can provide the leadership necessary for an effective and efficient QMS.
- You are looking to formalise the qualification of your process owners / drivers.
Objectives
- Identify the responsibilities and missions of a process owner as expected by IATF16949.
- To practice (on a case study) the different activities to be taken in charge by the process owner.
- Engage participants in their Continuous Improvement Plan.
Pass two exams to certify their qualification as a process owner.
Recommanded for
Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / EN 9100 is not required.
- Process owners / managers, whether or not they are new to an existing Quality Management System where the process map is “up to date”.
- Quality / QHSE managers, engineers and technicians.
- Knowledge of ISO standards is not required.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of basic concepts and tools (PDCA, Crosby Turtle, 5W, QQOCCP…). Have your own laptop.
Pedagogy

Team activities and construction of a Personal Progress Plan (PPP). The team activities are based on a case study which allows participants to “live the life” of a process pilot and thus to be put in a situation.
Evaluation mode

Examination with two tests.
6 weeks later: Presentation and analysis of the work, the conditions of application and the results obtained.

The origins, the 5 principles of process management and the requirements of the IATF 16949 standard.
Session 2
The roles and missions of process owners.
Session 3
Links between strategy deployment and process management (case study).
Session 4
Building the identity card of a process (process boundaries and purposes, identification and representation of the main activities of the process).
Session 5
Determining the relevant interested parties, their requirements, and the performance and warning indicators for monitoring the performance of the process.
Session 6
Planning of objectives / the Process Progress Plan.
Session 7
Know how to conduct a process risk analysis using the SWOT or DROP method and decide on the actions to be taken.
Session 8
Use the principles and methods of visual management to animate the process management routines.
Session 9
Knowing how to prepare and lead the process review and formalising the link with the management review.
Session 10
Building the Personal Progress Plan for each process owner.
Session 11
Qualification tests for process management.
Session 12
6 weeks later remotely :
At the end of day 2, each participant undertook to apply 2 lessons: remotely, each participant presents his or her work, the conditions under which it was applied and the results obtained/documents produced.
