Training content

Context

RGPQP – Renault Group Product Quality Procedure – is the RENAULT’s standard for managing supplier quality in development phase and during serial life.

RENAULT’s requirements through the Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) ask that a supplier quality representative (SCQR, Supplier Customer Quality Representative) be appointed and trained to the RGPQP standard.

EURO-SYMBIOSE and more globally TRIGO Group have been assigned by RENAULT to train its suppliers with official RGPQP training module.

Objectives

  • To know all the requirements and particularities of the RGPQP RENAULT Version 1.0 process.

  • Ensure appropriate rating of requirements and deliverables in the APQP Grid. Know the roles and responsibilities between suppliers and RENAULT, and between RENAULT teams.
  • Discover the RGPQP Supplier Portal and IS application.

  • Build the action plan to apply the new requirements. Obtain the RGPQP V.3.2 training certificate.

Recommanded for

This training is required by RENAULT for all people in contact with Renault project teams during the bidding phase, the development of a project and during the series for the management of modifications. This training is also recommended for all other members of the project teams: Quality Engineers, Design Engineers, Test and Product Validation Engineers, Industrialization Engineers, Production Managers, Logistics Managers, Sales Managers, IATF 16949 System Auditors.

Prerequisites

  • Have completed general training in APQP and PPAP processes – or have experience in APQP application.

Specific operating conditions for remote sessions

  • Have a PC equipped with a microphone, webcam and, if possible, a headset for greater comfort. Note: To blur or hide the view from behind, background screens are available in Zoom or Teams.
  • A good Internet connection, tested before the session.
  • Locate in a quiet, isolated area; switch to “not available” status in Teams; close your email access and mute your phone to avoid distraction during the session.
  • To avoid off-topic discussions during the session, participants from the same organisation should not be grouped together in the same room, but rather at their own desks. Virtual sub-groups will be set up specifically for the exercises, which will also allow for mixed groups to be created.
  • The webcam and microphone must be open during remote qualification/certification exams. It may also be necessary for us to check that you are the only one in the room.
  • We ask that you connect at least 5 minutes before the beginning of the session.

Pedagogy

  • This training program was designed by RENAULT.

  • The pedagogy is based on activities in sub-groups with exercises (including Key Features) and role-playing (preparation of the RGPQP milestones based on a case study file that is completed as the course progresses).
  • The pedagogy links up with the real-life context of each participant through a construction activities around the personal progress plan.

  • The mandatory and recommended forms and examples for each deliverable are presented in the training module.

  • Training materials are available in English, French, Spanish.
  • Participant’s folder containing the presentations delivered during the training and the exercise materials.
