STELLANTIS – Capacity Assessment Tool (CAT) – #3670
Qualifying training in partnership with the STELLANTIS Group
Context
Capacity Assessment Tool is STELLANTIS standard defined in CAT procedure for measuring and documenting Production capacity during Run&Rate, in development phase and during serial life in the event of change in process/ equipment and/or location.
Capacity Assessment is a STELLANTIS requirement through APQP PPAP process, linked with RMP
Objectives

Know all the requirements and characteristics of the Capacity Assessment Tool (CAT) process.
- Understand how to obtain all the information necessary for the assessment of production capacity in your organisation (Run@Rate measurement activities).
- Be able to know how to carry out the capacity assessment in APQP Phase 1
- Perform capacity assessment in APQP phases 3, 4 and 5 (CAT1/2/3)
- Manage the Risk Mitigation Run Plan (RMR deliverable)

Ensure that the APQP PPAP process in relation to CAT submission includes appropriate requirements and deliverables.

- Quality managers and engineers
- Process / Industrialization / Production managers and engineers
Prerequisites
- Knowledge in production. Knowledge in APQP PPAP STELLANTIS.
Specific operating conditions for remote sessions
- Have a PC equipped with a microphone, webcam and, if possible, a headset for greater comfort. Note: To blur or hide the view from behind, background screens are available in Zoom or Teams.
- A good Internet connection, tested before the session.
- Locate in a quiet, isolated area; switch to “not available” status in Teams; close your email access and mute your phone to avoid distraction during the session.
- To avoid off-topic discussions during the session, participants from the same organisation should not be grouped together in the same room, but rather at their own desks. Virtual sub-groups will be set up specifically for the exercises, which will also allow for mixed groups to be created.
- The webcam and microphone must be open during remote qualification/certification exams. It may also be necessary for us to check that you are the only one in the room.
- We ask that you connect at least 5 minutes before the beginning of the session.
Pedagogy
The pedagogy is based on activities in sub-groups with exercises (including CTF – technical and functional characteristics) and role-playing (preparation of a CAT aligned to APQP / PPAP phases based on a case study file that is completed as the course progresses).
The pedagogy links up with the real-life context of each participant through a construction activity around the personal progress plan.
The mandatory and recommended forms as well as examples for each deliverable are presented in the training module.

Participant’s folder containing the presentations delivered during the training. Training materials in digital format are made available to trainees a few days before the course.
