Every product design needs to be controlled at every stage of its life cycle, to reduce the risks of customer dissatisfaction, feasibility problems, missed deadlines, costs and, worse still, legal and criminal consequences.
Risk management begins by translating the requirements of the specifications into so-called external functions, and thus understanding how the structure of the product contributes to these functions.
At the end of the product FMEA, a verification/validation plan will be defined as necessary.
To optimise analysis time, it is important to prioritise product FMEA studies.
Finally, if the FMEA approach is to be sustainable, it is necessary to strengthen the skills and motivation of your development teams by producing useful and effective FMEA.
No prerequisites.
