Understanding the requirements of QHSEE Management System standards: ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 50001 – #21
Context
- Companies can no longer separate or ignore Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment and Energy issues at the same time.
- Mastery of each standard is a differentiating advantage for organisations, whatever their size, sector of activity or level of organisational maturity.
- This course will give you a comprehensive and coherent understanding of the requirements of the ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001 standards, so that you can implement them in each of your organisation’s processes.
Objectives
- Discover the synergies and differences between the QHSEE management system standards ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO50001, using the PDCA approach.
- Gain an overall understanding of the common and specific requirements of each of these 4 standards.
- Draw up a summary of the gaps in relation to the QSSEEn requirements, and draw up an internal action plan for compliance.
NB: This training does not cover all the standards in detail, which are covered in dedicated training courses.

- Process managers

Specific operating conditions for remote sessions
- Have a PC equipped with a microphone, a webcam and, if possible, a headset for greater comfort. Note: wallpapers are available on Zoom or Teams to hide the background.
- Have a good Internet connection, which should be tested before the session.
- Settle down in a quiet, isolated place; set yourself to āunavailableā status on Teams; close your email access, and mute your phone, so as not to be disturbed during the session.
- Participants from the same organisation should not be grouped together in the same room, but each at their own desk.
- This Quiz must be taken with the webcam and microphone open. We may need to check that you are alone in the room.
- Please sign in 5 minutes before the start of the session.
Pedagogy
Throughout the course, participants are encouraged to take part in group activities that are directly linked to their operational concerns. Numerous exchanges and consolidation of work (including after in-house implementation) help to promote the appropriation of shared concepts, tools and good practice. The simplicity and logic of the common thread used throughout the course ensure a real understanding of the issues involved in properly implementing QHSE Management System standards.
The pedagogical approach adopted consists of simultaneously going through the requirements of the 4 ISO QSSEEn Management System standards via the āPDCAā approach, in order to facilitate understanding of both their consistency/common points and their own specific features.
In āINTRAā mode, the training can be customised to suit the company’s specific requirements, difficulties and challenges.
Evaluation mode
- Knowledge test (MCQ).
Course materials
- Participant file containing the presentations given during the course and the exercise materials.
- Participants must be in possession of the standards; Euro-Symbiose does not provide the standards.
